Permanently delete your account from The Classifieds.
Delete your account
This closes your conversations, leaves a notice that your account was deleted, preserves only your display name in those closed threads, and removes your account identity.
1. What deletion does
Deleting your account removes your account identity and profile from The Classifieds, signs you out, closes your conversations, and removes your posts from public Browse, search, profile, embed, and ad-detail surfaces.
2. Conversations
Your conversations are closed. The other person may still see your previous display name or conversation context with a notice that the account was deleted.
3. Posts and media
Your posts are removed from public surfaces. Uploaded media associated with deleted posts or profiles is removed or scheduled for cleanup according to trusted server-side storage processes.
4. Safety and platform integrity
Some information may be limited, anonymized, or retained when required for safety, legal, fraud-prevention, moderation, dispute-resolution, backup, or platform integrity reasons.
